Zoho CRM and TicketSpice integration through Zapier

The main advantage of Zoho CRM is its ability to integrate in an efficient and automated way all the applications needed for business management, making it a useful and easy to use tool. In the specific case of events and calendar management, a useful integration could be between TicketSpice and Zoho CRM. 

This integration is possible through the development of an extension, however in this case we chose to implement it using Zapier, which was cost effective and saved time.

Since Zapier's testing framework is limited, it is important to perform a previous analysis of the tools to be integrated, in order to determine the integration possibilities and adjust the necessary elements in each app so that the required information appears.  

The unidirectional integration allowed that when the customer provided the event details and made the payment, a Deal was created in the CRM with all these data included and also a contact associated with the customer's personal information. An event was also generated in the Google Calendar with the specific details of the activity and participants.  During implementation, some issues were encountered with missing fields, but were resolved by updating or modifying features in TicketSpice. 

Test forms were created to conduct the extensive testing required prior to implementation.  In conclusion, while it is felt that Zoho Backstage would be the best option to integrate with Zoho CRM, the choice of using Zapier to integrate TicketSpice was due to customer preferences.

In any case, using Zapier to integrate the CRM with third parties is a viable, simple and effective alternative.
